    1. Unfortunately, this was one of those books where I didn t complete reading it There was nothing wrong with the writing in itself, the author wrote quite well and had a good writing style. My problem with the book seems to have been a personal issue, in that I didn t find anything which drew me to the characters The heroine of the piece, Adelaide Graves didn t speak to me in any way shape or form, I didn t find myself caring one way or the other for what happened to her The mystery involved in th [...]

    2. I loved this book while there was a time or two I felt like I was reading the same scene just in slightly different context, it was hardly enough to make me stop loving it The thing that got me most was the foreshadowing Greenhorn did a such a fantastic job at her foreshadow, managing to keep the reader just enough in the dark that they can t quite place their finger on it, and whenever the big reveal happened, all of those little bits and pieces of foreshadowing snapped into place, causing a hu [...]

    3. Great StoryLoved this book, can t wait to read the rest of the series Greenhorn s a very good author, definitely want to read by her.

    4. We meet Adalaide and learn about her, an empath struggling to feel sane while surrounded by people She s quite anti social and it completely fits with her personality She s dragged into a world that she did not knew existed and right in the middle of a mystery to find a magical diary But who is of the lesser evil Lars, a power hungry giant in the supernatural world who sends thugs after her, or Reed, a charming, and power hungry giant in the supernatural world who is sorta looking out for her I [...]

    5. A fantasy that deals with the realm of the dead and psychic medium type talents, Adelaide Confused is a pretty entertaining first book The characters are very sympathetically drawn, even the bad guys are very understandable in their foibles and ugliness I really enjoyed it, and the sometimes snarky sense of humor displayed by the author The first few chapters, I wasn t sure if I d wind up liking the protagonist, Adelaide, but I wound up cheering for her by the end of chapter three, coming to und [...]

    6. This book kept me interested but Adelaide isn t the only one confused The first book of an intended series is usually background information for introducing the characters and a basic storyline or mystery to keep the reader interested enough to continue on to the next book However, I didn t feel there was any connection between any of the characters and especially between Adelaide and her boyfriend, Lucas I was interested enough to finish the book only to see where the author was going with the [...]

    7. This was a good introduction to the series about an empath who ends up with a special ring that enables her to see spirits She is told that the spirits only know if she lets them know she can see them She finds that the she communicates with a spirit the substantial they can become even allowing them to interact with physical objects She meets a man whose special gift is charm He blackmails her into using her gift to help him but doesn t give her any information of what she s supposed to be lo [...]

    8. I picked up this one free for my Kindle Penny is a great writer I was pulled in by the fact that Adelaide is an empath and appreciated how this made her interact with the world I enjoyed how ornery her character was I am intrigued by what s brewing at the end enough to pick up the next in the series.

    9. This was a great story, I really enjoyed reading it However, I did not like how the book ended I mean, it just ended I seriously thought I downloaded an incomplete book I understand it is the first in a series, but really This really was not a cliffhanger ending, it just dropped off without warning It is definately worth a read, but I recommend waiting until the series is complete.

    10. Since you are reading this review, you are interested.Go ahead Live a bit This is a book you will thoroughly enjoy. It will keep you laughing, on edge, and consistently trying to figure out the next move Plus, Adelaide can teach you a few lessons regarding social interactions Read on Read on.

    11. I enjoyed this story I thought the title was lame, and there were some things that seemed totally unrealistic and I m not talking about the paranormal aspects, either But the characters were well developed and interesting, and it was fast paced and action packed.

    12. I enjoyed this book and Adelaide s personality and dry sense of humor I wish that Lucas character had been expanded upon a bit I didn t like the ending much It just kind of left me handing I am hoping there is a sequel.

    13. Loved the way she phrased things Good paranormal book Didn t like the ending how it was just so abrupt but still cute
